PROFILE
  As a sole practitioner I work closely with each client to understand what is needed for their project. I keep the process very one-on-one. My overhead is low; hiring writers, photographers, illustrators, web designers, etc. on a per job basis. By doing this, I can utilize the particular strengths of one of my associates to best solve the project's needs without adding substantially to the overall budget.
 
DESIGN
PHILOSOPHY
 

Listening is the first thing I do with any design project. I compile all the client input; firm philosophy, target market, budget and timeline, and I analyze the problem needed to be solved. I take these notes and impressions into the studio and produce concepts for presentation.

 
REIMBURSABLE
EXPENSES
  My fees include coordination with printers, photographers, copywriters, etc. I do not mark up reimbursable expenses. The printers I work with bill the client NET. I do not add any handling fees.
 
WHY FDA?   My style of design is clean, simple and classic. I strive for clarity in the concept of an idea. My job is to make the reader want to travel through the piece, in print or on-line, without being distracted by graphic gimmicks. I understand the financial constraints of non-profits as well as those of my corporate clients. I work efficiently without sacrificing the quality of the work, always mindful of the budget.
